What Actually are the "Core Muscles"?
We've all heard about them and how important they are, but just what and
where are they? The importance of a strong and stable core can't be overstated as a weak core can cause such things as bad posture, back aches, incontinence, kyphosis, poor lung capacity, tiredness, aching legs and so much more.
There are as many as 35 separate muscles making up the Core Group of muscles and sit-ups only use about 3-5 of these. Click the image to learn all about this important group of muscles and the importance of maintaining them. In our next edition we will look at many ways to strengthen and balance these muscles with exercises you can perform at your gym or in your own home.
